REM Air Conditioning of Tampa, Inc opened in 1976 and is still today under the same ownership. When you choose a contractor of course you want a company with highly knowledgeable employees in each of their positions. This means from the management decisions to the installations and service as well as the office staff to accurately serve your needs.

To carry this further, it is also important to choose a contractor that will be there years down the road with all your history at hand. Because REM is a strong, well managed company, we have weathered many economic climates to emerge with stability and longevity.

REM does not employ sub-contractors. All employees are directly employed by REM Air Conditioning of Tampa Inc.

What does this mean to you? In order to save on payroll cost, many other contractors do not pay their employees by the hour because they would be paying for down time and travel time between service calls.

Instead they pay their technicians a percentage of the repair cost – “The higher the repair cost; the more the technician’s portion is.” All our employees are paid by the hour. It makes no difference in their paycheck if it is a $5.00 part or a $500.00 part that needs replacing.

Our trucks are lettered, our skilled employees wear proper uniforms and are drug tested. Our company is licensed, bonded and insured to protect you, the consumer. Our Florida Contractors License number is CAC009430. We are a member of the Regional Air Conditioning Contractors Association (RACCA), Angies List and Better Business Bureau.

REM Air Conditioning services all of Hillsborough County and South Pasco county including Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, Temple Terrace, Lutz, Wesley Chapel and surrounding areas.
